1. Live translation
Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro can automatically detect incoming messages in another language and offer to translate them with a single tap. This feature is called live translation. You can use this function toTranslate WhatsApp messagesor to talk to someone when you are in a foreign country. Here's how to use it.
Step 1:Open the Settings app on your Pixel phone. Scroll down to the System section.

Step 2:Navigate to the Live Translation section.

Step 3:Next to Live Translate, turn on the toggle at the top. You can also choose which language you want the text to be translated into by default.


You have now activated Live Translate on your Pixel 7. How to use it to translate text.
Step 1:Open the app containing the text to be translated. You will be prompted at the top of the screen to translate the text. Tap on it.

Step 2:You will now be prompted to download the language pack that corresponds to the language to be translated. Tap Download.

The text on that particular screen will now be translated into your phone's default language.
2. Live subtitles
The Live Subtitles feature gives you real-time subtitles for any type of audio playing on your Pixel 7 series smartphone. If you are hard of hearing or you are in a silent environment but still want to watch a video, you can use the live subtitles feature to do so. Here's how you can activate it.
Step 1:Play an audio or video clip of your choice on your Pixel 7 phone. Press one of the volume buttons on the side of your phone. You will now see the volume slider along with a small icon below it.


Step 2:Tap the subtitles button to start live subtitles.

You can now see the subtitles for the audio at the bottom of your screen. When you're done using the feature, tap the same button again to turn off live captions.

Tip:You can also use live subtitles during a call. So if you don't want to hear a robot talking, or you're in a noisy environment and can't hear the other person, you can turn on live captions, and it may turn out to be pretty handy.
3. Call Screening
This function is somewhat similar to the one mentioned above. With call monitoring, your Pixel 7 series smartphone can find out who's calling before you answer a call. This will help you filter out robocalls or spam calls from unknown numbers. However, call monitoring is only available in certain regions of the world. Here is a list of supported countries:

4. Delete call
Google recently made the Clear Calling feature available on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro via the December Feature Drop update. It's a setting that allows callers on the other end to hear you clearly and loudly. It does this by blocking out background noise and emphasizing your voice. 5. Transcription in the Recorder app

Step 1:Launch the Recorder app on your Pixel 7 series device.

6. Tap fast
Quick Tap is a feature similar to Apple's implementationOn iPhone, tap Back. It uses your smartphone's gyroscope and accelerometer sensors to detect touches on the back of your phone. On the other hand, adaptive charging learns your charging habits and optimizes charging times to maintain battery health over time.

Step 1:Open the Settings app on your Pixel 7. Navigate to the Battery section.

Step 2:Go to the adaptive settings.

Step 3:Turn on the toggles next to Adaptive Charging and Adaptive Battery.

8. Snoring and coughing detection
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro can track if you snore or cough while you sleep and let you know about it. You can then use this data to further investigate the problem or see a doctor for a solution. If you want your Pixel 7 series smartphone to detect and record every cough or snore you sleep, follow these steps to set it up.
Step 1:Open the Settings app on your Pixel 7. Navigate to the Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls section.

Step 2:Scroll down and select Bedtime mode.

Step 3:This is where you need to establish a bedtime routine. Choose either "Use a schedule" or "Turn on when charging" and set your times accordingly.

Now your Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will automatically detect when you cough or snore when bedtime mode is on.
To check the stats, go to the same section and tap on "Cough and Snoring Info".


9. Play now
This is one of the most useful features of a pixel, which is also quite underrated. Have you ever heard a song in public and later got the urge to hear it again? Except you don't know the name of the song? Well, that's exactly what Now Playing wants to solve.
It displays the name of the song playing in the background on your Pixel 7's lock screen and also maintains a database of all the songs it listens to. You can then go back and look at the song names to play them. How to activate the function.

10. Material themed colors
Google introduced the Material You theme with Android 12 and it has improved in some aspectsAndroid 13. You can now choose from a wider range of colors for the overall design of your phone. Step 1:Press the home screen of your Google Pixel 7 for about 2 seconds. Then select "Wallpaper & style".
